- The 3rd Gangneung Beach Beer Festival will begin on the 30th (Friday) and last for three days. -

​The 3rd Gangneung Beach Beer Festival will take place at the central square of Gyeongpo Beach. Here, on a hot summer day, you'll be able to enjoy a refreshing glass of beer while surrounded by the scenery of the sea and a pine forest.

To coincide with Gyeongpo Beach opening on July 1st, which is a week earlier than the previous year, Gangneung will host the Beach Beer Festival for three days, starting on June 30th (Friday) and lasting until July 2nd (Sunday).

The event will feature 18 distinctive craft beer breweries from across the country, including Budnamu Brewery and Gangneung Brewery, which are renowned craft beer breweries in Gangneung. Ten local restaurants in Gangneung will also participate in the festival.

The festival will include a variety of live performances and club parties for you to enjoy alongside the beautiful Gyeongpo Beach on a summer night.

There will also be an instant raffle called the Bubble Event, which participants can enter by submitting receipts from purchases made during the festival period.

Additional events for the festival include an exciting random dance competition to K-pop music.

There will also be a local flea market selling various handmade crafts and local merchandise representing Gangneung.

The festival aims to create an eco-friendly and enjoyable environment with activities such as plogging and upcycling, where beach litter is bartered for special souvenirs.

This year, the festival is expected to be even more vibrant, with approximately twice the number of participating companies compared to last year.

In addition to performance events, interactive and environmentally friendly experience programs have been added so that residents and tourists visiting Gyeongpo Beach can enjoy an upgraded festival experience in terms of both quality and quantity.
