- Enjoy night-time opening and standing performances at Ojukheon from July 7 to August 26 -

In conjunction with beach season, Ojukheon House and the Municipal Museum in Gangneung City are extending their operating hours into the evening. This initiative will provide visitors with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the distinct night-time ambiance of Ojukheon House, which is much different than during the day.

Visitors will be welcomed at Ojukheon House from 6 pm to 9 pm, from July 7 to August 26. To enhance this unique experience, standing night performances have been curated, offering diverse attractions and entertainment for guests.

The '2023 Ojukheon House Standing Night Performance,' an integral part of the Tourist Hub City initiative, unfolds every Friday and Saturday from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at the outdoor performance venue within Ojukheon House.

The performances are a fusion of traditional and modern culture, with elements of Korean music, farmer's music, and busking. Using the historic, cultural, and spatial infrastructure of Ojukheon House, these performances aim to showcase distinct local cultural tourism content.

Notably, during the peak season from July 30 to August 3, performances will also be held on Sundays and weekdays. On August 5, visitors can look forward to a special performance, a spectacle not typically witnessed in regular performances.

The Director of Ojukheon House and the Municipal Museum stated, “The enhancement of our night-time landscape lighting, combined with our regular night performances, allows us to offer novel attractions both during the day and at night. We encourage the public to take a keen interest in our upcoming regular night performances.”​
