Gangneung City, in partnership with the Gangneung Cultural Foundation, proudly launches the eleventh installment of the Gangneung Cultural Heritage Night. This spectacular event, scheduled from Saturday, July 8th, to Monday, July10th, coincides with the World Choir Games and takes place at the historic Gangneung Daedohobu Government Office and in the vibrant Seobu Market district.

Embodying the slogan "The Resurgence of the Thousand-Year-Old Government Office, Gangneung Daedohobu," the 2023 Gangneung Cultural Heritage Night has meticulously organized 43 engaging programs, revolving around eight captivating themes: night view, night narrative, night road, night history, night painting, night poetry, night meal, and night lodging.

The event opens with the inclusive "Gangneung Daedohobu Governor's Parade," which welcomes citizen participation. Following this, a variety of programs are set to engage attendees, such as the "Drones Sketching Gangneung's Cultural Heritage," involving a fleet of 600 drones, the "Elegance of Gangneung, Hanbok Fashion Show," featuring local citizen models, and the "Grand Exhibition of Human Intangible Cultural Heritage," presenting Gangneung's remarkable intangible cultural assets.

Moreover, the Seobu Market vicinity will be alive with culinary delights provided by an assortment of food trucks, beer venues, and traditional Seobu pubs. This culinary feast is anticipated to not only satiate tourists but also breathe life into the surrounding business districts.
